Science: Week 4



It’s our final week of plants!

In Science, we have been learning about plants. This is a chance for you to get out into your garden or go out for a walk in the fresh air.




Can you now answer the following Year 2 questions?

What are plants?
 
What are different parts of plants called?
What do plants need to grow?
How do plants grow?

Can you explain the some of the vocabulary displayed below?

This final week on plants is to extend and summarise some of our learning.

Why do we need to understand how plants grow?

As humans we rely on plants for many things.

One of those being food!
