Spellings Week 7

 Good morning Year 2! Well done if you are still completing your spellings. It is really important that you learn and practice to get ready for your writing.

Remember to complete at least 3 spelling activities a week. The more you practice the better chance you’ll have of putting those spellings into your long term memory.

We are starting a new focus this week, looking as words ending in ‘tion’. If the ‘sh’ sound is spelt ‘ti’ in the middle of a word, it can be followed by ‘on’ to make the ending ‘tion’ which sounds like ‘shun’.
